Description: Yuu Baal’s mezcal production is a handmade process involving producers in various regions of Oaxaca, including San Juan del Rio, San Luis del Rio, Tiacolula, and Miahuatlan. It is made using agave Jabali, which is cooked in a traditional pit oven and then mashed by hand with wooden mallets. The agave is fermented in pine wood vats and double distilled in small clay pots. Yuu Baal Mezcal is a social enterprise that highlights the traditional techniques of native Oaxacan mezcal producers. The team pays close attention to every detail of the production process to ensure a mystical, exotic, and delightful taste in every drink.
