Description: Sierra Norte distilling began with Master Distiller Douglas French’s passion for using different varieties of ancient, flavorful Oaxacan corn to create a series of unique and outstanding whiskies. Each variety is distilled separately and aged in French oak casks in order to highlight its individual character and nuance. The aroma of this whisky is marked by penetrating maraschino cherry and banana peel, while the palate features deep, ripe plantain flavors. The finish is reminiscent of wedding cake with almond vanilla icing.
