Description: Caballeros Inc. has recently released a limited edition of rare, 100% agave Mezcal aged in oak barrels. These special bottlings are twice distilled and bottled in heavy French glass with a scorpion inside each hand-numbered bottle. In this unique edition, larger-than-usual scorpions are included. This award-winning Mezcal is a rare, limited edition and spends 5 years aging in oak barrels of less than 200 liters. Its appearance is an interesting gold-amber color, similar to the color of a bourbon of the same age. Its aroma is briny with phenol, mesquite sap, and salt. On the palate, it has flavors of brine, herbs de Provence, salt, smoke, and has a slick mouth feel with an almost paradoxical sweet and bitter taste and a defined viscosity.
