Description: The Purkhart family has been producing their all-natural walnut liqueur for three generations using the same family recipe, which is known for its perfect balance and exceptionally smooth finish. This liqueur has a long tradition in the Alps, where it is made each year using fresh green “Weinsberg” variety walnuts that are picked near the village of Sankt Peter in Der Au. These walnuts are steeped in Weinbrand (a grape brandy) for several months and then infused with a variety of spices and alpine botanicals for the final month of the production process. This results in a rich, aromatic liqueur that is highly prized by those who appreciate its unique flavor and smooth finish.
