Description: This unaged grappa is produced by Distilleria Gualco in Silvano d’Orba, located in the heart of Piedmont, Italy. Distilled from the pomace of Cortese di Gavi grapes, it is crafted using a traditional Piedmontese bain-marie pot still. After distillation, the grappa is stored in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of six months to allow its flavors to settle before bottling.

Elegant and dry, this grappa beautifully captures the essence of the Cortese di Gavi grape, showcasing floral notes on the finish that reflect the character of the grape variety. Silvano d’Orba, surrounded by the rolling hills of Ovada (home to red Dolcetto grapes) and the Gavi hills (where the white Cortese grape reigns), provides the perfect terroir for this expression. Despite its dryness, it retains the grace and aromatic complexity of the “Great Piedmontese White.” Bottled at 42% ABV, this grappa offers a refined taste of the Piedmontese landscape.
