Description: This Stravecchia grappa is crafted at Caffo Distilleria Friulia in Udine, Italy, using traditional methods. Distilled in a bain-marie alembic pot still, where the grape skins are gently steam distilled, it is then aged in oak casks for a minimum of 18 months. In keeping with the G.I. for grappa, this Riserva is made from 100% Italian-grown grape pomace, ensuring authenticity and quality.

The nose is inviting, with aromas of vanilla cream, quince, toasted barley, and a touch of cinnamon, setting the stage for a rich and warming palate. Flavors of baked apple, vanilla, and cherry unfold, followed by the comforting notes of freshly baked sourdough bread and dried straw that linger on the finish. Bottled at 45% ABV, this grappa is an elegant and refined spirit. Enjoy it neat or paired with an espresso as a classic caffè corretto.
