Description: A restaurant in Portland inspired us to create a liqueur similar to the French “Crème de Cassis” using Oregon blackcurrants. The final product exceeded our expectations, featuring a tart and slightly sweet flavor with a hint of earthiness and a strong blackcurrant taste. Our blackcurrants come from a farm located just 30 minutes from the distillery, picked and distilled immediately to capture the freshest flavor. After maceration for several months, the solids are pressed off and sugar is added. Adding a splash of our Cassis Liqueur to your sparkling wine will transport you to the Parisian cafes that made the classic Kir and Kir Royale popular.
