Description: Our “Old Genever” is made according to a traditional recipe dating back to 1942. It has a smooth, subtle, and malty flavor, which comes from using a high malt-wine content made from rye, corn, and malted barley, and triple-distilled in copper pot stills. This malt wine, which serves as the base of the genever, is then infused and blended with carefully selected distillates from juniper berries and other botanicals, such as hops, cloves, anise, licorice, ginger, and citrus. The final product is brought to an alcohol content of 38%, which has been carefully chosen by the master distiller for the perfect balance of aroma and mouthfeel.
