Description: Named in tribute to my father’s roots, the inaugural Booker’s batch of 2024 bears the moniker “Springfield Batch,” an homage to his cherished hometown in Kentucky. Springfield, nestled in the heart of the state, holds a special place in my father’s heart as the very soil where he grew up. His youth was spent toiling in the fields, from tending hay to cultivating tobacco, instilling in him a deep appreciation for the land and its bounty.

Comprised of a selection spanning five distinct production dates and aged in four separate warehouses, this batch boasts a maturity of 7 years, 7 months, and 8 days, culminating in a robust 124.5 proof.

The hue of the Springfield Batch reflects its journey, a radiant golden amber nurtured over the course of more than seven years within new white oak barrels. Upon nosing, one is greeted by a delightful medley of sweet brown sugars and vanilla, promising a sensory journey to come. On the palate, a harmonious balance prevails, with a gentle warmth that caresses the senses. As the last sip is savored, a lingering, comforting warmth graces the finish—a welcome embrace, particularly during the chill of January in Kentucky.
